It's been close to 4 years since I first tried the food here and it remains one of the most consistent restaurants here in Clarksville. Lately work has been so overwhelming that I've been using Door Dash a lot to deliver during the times i can't leave the office and when I saw they added Elaine's as one of the restaurants I decided to try that for lunch today. The Bulgogi and Hot and Spicy Pork arrived hot and overflowing with deliciousness. Her food just makes me happy, because you know she cooks from the heart. I never get sick of eating her Bulgogi.

Elaine's is a very unique place to say the least. From the outside, it may look like a hair salon or some other business establishments. It doesn't look like a cafe or restaurant.

A friend of mine recommended Elaine's when we first arrived in Clarksville.  He said it's a real good place for a breakfast.

I never made it there for one, but I ate lunch there several times.  My favorite dish was Bulgogi Omllett.  It's not a menu item, but if you ask Elaine, she will gladly whip it up for you. It's really tasty because her Bulgogi is very tasty.  Her fried rice is also very good especially if you eat it with some of her kimchi.

One downside is that sometimes it's hard to tell when it's open. It seems like she closes her place without any notice or explanation.  When that happens, you just have to be patient and wait until it opens up again.

This place had a nice homey diner feel to it. I particularly like the many plants and flowers decorating the dining area.
My first dish was the Spicy Pork which was good but not as spicy as I like it. The flavor was good but I would have preferred the veggies to be in smaller cuts. Everything tasted fresh in this dish and was prepared to order. The rice was good but not as sticky as I usually get. The eggroll was tasty and large. This dish was quite good but could use a bit more seasoning. I did like it and ate it all.
My second dish was the Bugolgi Omelete. This dish was amazing!! The flavors were strong and well balanced throughout. I highly recommend this dish.
The Kimchi Cucumbers were very good and I had them with both dishes.
The place was clean and the service was great.
I did, however, find the pricing to be a bit higher than others serving similar food.
The parking can be a bit cramped at times and being a small place you may have to plan your visit as to get a seat.
I would come back to try other dishes or just get the Bugolgi Omlete.

come to elaine's café and try the biggest and best pancakes in town! Seriously all you need is one! Elaine is super sweet and funny and always remembers me when I come in. She also has pretty good looking lunch items. Its a cute little local spot that's great for lunch.

This place has fair prices and they always give you so much more food than anywhere else especially for breakfast, it's all home cooked and they start to make it right after you order, right there in front of you. This place is a hidden gem in Clarksville.
